Helena Douglas is seen walking into a laboratory room filled with Kasumi's clones. A screen appears, informing her that the clones are only capable of a fourteen-hour lifespan. Helena looks hesitant, but releases the clones anyway. Due to her apprehension, some fans theorize she is not acting of her own accord, but that her hand is being forced by Donovan.
After Hayate defeats Tifa, Helena rejoins with him and Hitomi. Helena shows in interest in Tifa's materia, now in Hitomi's arm, and takes Tifa onto the plane with them. Toward the end of DFV they are seen arriving in a large city where it is believed that DOATEC resides, being tailed by Cloud Strife and Yuna. It is possible they will either clone Tifa, or use her in one of their super-soldier experiments.
It is not currently known what role DOATEC will play in Dead Fantasy. Presumably, they will try to experiment on Tifa Lockhart, and presumably, Cloud Strife and Yuna will have a bone to pick with them.
Insight into DOATEC
Dead or Alive Tournament Executive Committee (DOATEC) is the group that presides over the Dead or Alive tournaments. DOATEC serves an antagonistic role in the series, with many of the characters seeking its destruction. It was originally headed by Fame Douglas, the father of Helena Douglas , but after he was killed, Helena took over the organization. Altough she was the rightful heir to the company, Victor Donovan held most of the power in the corporation after the death of Fame Douglas.
